Please provide more info on what anti-virus / firewall software you are using. Without that info, it is hard to provide any support.
As there are two many anti-virus / firewall software applications on the market, generally you should ask the software vendor for more support. You don't need to turn off your firewall software, as it usually allows you to config it not to block DriveHQ.com or DriveHQ client applications.
If you cannot get it working, you can still try to access DriveHQ using a web browser or any FTP client software. (FTP might also be blocked by firewall).
Microsoft Internet Explorer can act as a simple FTP client, please try:
