Question: Can other websites, such as eBay, link to my files in my account? Answer: No. Your files are all protected by your username and password. When other websites link to your account files, they need to logon with your username and password. There is one way to work around the problem. You can publish a folder first, and then copy the files to the published folder. Links to published files do not require logon. For more info on Publish contents, please visit the online help pages.

To create static links to your files on DriveHQ.com, you need to be a TRUE member or PAID member. Please note by default all your files are private except files in WWWHome folder and PublicFolder.

You can create a new folder and publish it, or you can just copy your files to the wwwhome folder. Files in a published folder can be accessed as follows:

http://www.drivehq.com/file/df.aspx/publish/YOUR_USERNAME/PUBLISH_NAME/FILENAME

Files in WWWHome can be accessed as follows:

http://www.drivehq.com/web/YOUR_USERNAME/FILENAME

e.g., if you copy a file "house.jpg" to the wwwhome folder, it can be accessed as:

http://www.drivehq.com/web/YOUR_USERNAME/house.jpg

Sorry, your account is a free account. You cannot publish files.

As mentioned in the previous message, you must upgrade your account to a Premium account, or update your email address to a real company email address (True Account).
