General Info About CameraFTP Preconfigured IP CamerasNVRs
About CameraFTP Preconfigured IP Cameras and NVRs
CameraFTP Cloud Surveillance & Recording service is
compatible with most IP cameras. However, since we are not a device manufacturer, users need to configure their cameras to work with our service.
In order to make it really easy for average users, we have launched a broad list of preconfigured devices.
Why CameraFTP Preconfigured Cameras?
In short, it is about "Cloud-recording" and "Preconfigured".
- A regular IP camera or DVR can be easily destroyed by an intruder; thus you need cloud recording.
- CameraFTP preconfigured cameras and NVRs are the easiest Cloud Recording solutions.
- Our engineers have tested numerous camera brands and models and picked the best ones for you.
These devices support wireless and/or wired connectivity.
- Wi-Fi: No network/video cabling is required (within Wi-Fi range);
- Wired: Long range, high reliability with PoE support.
- Unlimited cloud storage, no local storage required.
- Recorded data cannot be destroyed by any intruders.
- Live view or playback from anywhere on any devices.

- Batch download many files/folders using FTP (FileZilla);
- Share your cameras to sub-users or non-DriveHQ members;
- Publish your cameras on the Internet
Usage Instructions
Since it is a pre-configured solution, there is no internal setup required by the user. Please note that Broadband Internet Connection is required.

(Assuming your router supports DHCP).
Setup for Wi-Fi Connection (Camera + Wi-Fi Router Bundle)
Connect the WAN port of the Bundled Wi-Fi Router with a LAN port on your broadband router using the included Ethernet cable
Power on the Wi-Fi router and the camera (Assuming your router supports DHCP).
Setup for PoE Connection (Camera + PoE Switch or PoE Injector / Splitter)
If a PoE switch is bundled, then connect the WAN port of the Bundled PoE Switch with a LAN port on your broadband router
using the included Ethernet cable;
if a PoE Injector is bundled, then connect the Injector to a LAN port on your broadband router, and then connect the AC Adaptor to the Injector.
If the camera is a PoE camera, then you need to connect the PoE Injector or a "powered" LAN port on the PoE switch with the Ethernet port on your camera;
if the camera is a wired camera without PoE support, you need to connect the Injector and Splitter with a network cable; then connect the PoE Splitter
with the camera for both power supply and network connection.
