Public IP Cameras and Webcams

You can publish your IP cameras / webcams on CameraFTP.com. Anybody can view your published cameras. When publishing a camera, you can optionally include it in CameraFTP's Published Camera list. If so, users can visit CameraFTP's Public Cameras page to find your published cameras. They can also view your public camera with CameraFTP Viewer apps for iOS and Android.

Advantages of Publishing IP Cameras / Webcams on CameraFTP.com

  • It is much easier to publish IP cameras/webcams on CameraFTP.com than to publish them directly. With CameraFTP service, you don't need to configure Port Forwarding on your router, and you don't need DDNS service. Your camera is not exposed to the Internet, so it is more secure.
  • Your published camera can handle a lot more concurrent connections than if you publish the camera directly.
  • Users can view your live camera as well as play back recorded footage.

How to Publish IP Cameras and Webcams

  • First, you need to configure your IP camera or webcam to upload footage to CameraFTP.com.
  • Then, log in to CameraFTP.com, select the camera in My Cameras page, click Publish.
  • When publishing a camera, you can optionally check/uncheck the checkbox "Include it Published Camera list". If you check it, then your camera will be listed in CameraFTP's Public Cameras page. Otherwise, users must know your camera's Publish URL to view your public camera.

View Public IP Cameras / Webcams

  • You can view public cameras on CameraFTP.com without login or sign-up.
  • Install CameraFTP Viewer app for iOS and Android. You can view public cameras from CameraFTP Viewer apps.
  • You can view live cameras and recorded footage.

Manage Published IP Cameras / Webcams

  • To manage your published cameras, just log in to CameraFTP.com website, go to My Cameras page, click "Manage My Publishes". It will display a list of cameras that you have published.
  • You can edit a Publish or delete a Publish.
  • You can also find the Publish Link and Embed Code to embed the camera in your own HTML page.
