Ive published a folder and click on a file within the folder . Right clicked on the download and properties it gives me this- http://www.drivehq.com/file/DF.aspx/288643388.zip

What i need to have the link to show up as is http://www.drivehq.com/file/DF.aspx/nics.zip

So when that link is clicked on or selected it brings up a window to be able to download it automaticly. Just like with any other file you download from other sites it asks you to open, save, or cancel. Any ideas?

If you want to keep the same folder / file tree structure in your URL, you might want to use the web hosting feature. First of all, please make sure your folder names and file names don't contain special characters, it is recommended to be alpha-numeric only. (Space should also be avoided).

If you have a paid account, your website usually is published by default. If so, everything is set! You just need to copy your files (folders) to the wwwhome folder.

Your files in wwwhome folder can be accessed as:

http://USERNAME.drivehq.com/FILENAME

-----------

If for some reason, your website is not published, or was deleted, you can re-enable it:

Logon www.drivehq.com, go to Online Storage & Sharing, click on Publish --> Publish My Website. Click on Enable / Disable to disable it first, then re-enable it.

Yes, we support hotlinking; however, you must be a paid member or "true" member.

Note Free users cannot publish website / files or create static links on DriveHQ. This is to fight abuse.
